New album to be recorded.
Late this autumn (October - November) Frida will go in to the studio again. Apparently the songs will be in English. An unconfirmed rumour has it will only be covers. Producer will be Christian Falk. He is in to soul and dance type music. He started off his career in the rock group Imperiet as their base player. When they split up in the late 80's he started to work as a producer in the then up and coming "Nordik Beat" dance music. He has since then more and more come in to the soul area, still with a dance touch. He has done some track for Robyn, but also worked with Jennifer Brown, Blacknus Allstars and Isabella Scorupco (who stared in the first Pierce Brosnan Bond film).

New "mini album" out.
A remix album, all though it is sold as a "big single" has been released. It may not be that much to get excited about. It contains remixes available on the singles from the latest album. Only one mix is new, the "TV Version" of Alla Mina Bästa År. Strangely enough it seems to be made by the German label that has a contract with Anderson Records. The CDs here are just the German issue with a sticker with the Swedish catalogue number.

New album compilation
In November Frida released a "new" album. Titled Frida 1967-1972. The 2-CD collection by EMI contains all her recordings for EMI + two duets with Lasse Berghagen (PolyGram) and four never released songs from TV and radio recordings. In all 38 tracks, compiled by Carl Magnus Palm who also wrote the sleeve notes. Carl Magnus is of course the author of the fabulous book ABBA - The Complete Recording Sessions. He is, for those interested in ABBA trivia, also the one who makes the Swedish subtitles on TV for Star Trek - The Next Generation.

It is not known if Frida will follow up on her re-started career. The album was a relative success, so there should be interest from Anderson Records to continue the co-operation.
